First, it attempts to prove that Aristotle's philosophy, both in his Metaphysics and his works on physics (biology, psychology) and reason, is an organically unified whole, regardless of the issue of chronological order of his works. Aristotle's philosophical system is characterized by strict consistence and logical coherence. The second axis of the thesis is the study of the concept of "essence". It attempts to give an answer to the question "What is essence" for Aristotle, a question that has remained unanswered by the philosopher himself. The conclusion is that what Aristotle is seeking is an essence that is not subject to the indeterminacy of matter, and as such is common for all men.
